The African Network for Resilience and Social Development (NRSD-Africa), hereafter referred to as
"the Organization," is a non-political, non-profit, and non-religious entity committed to the well-being of
underprivileged communities in Northern Kenya and, by extension, the Horn of Africa, focusing on
Somalia.
Founded in 2022 by experienced humanitarian professionals, the organization is registered with
the Non-Governmental Organizations Bureau (NGO Board).
Its primary objectives include:
NRSD-Africa has successfully implemented community development projects, focusing on capacity building, economic diversification, peace restoration, education, health, gender equity, food security, and environmental conservation. Collaborating with well-wishers, development partners, and governments, the organization has positively impacted thousands of marginalized people in Kenya and Somalia.
